Myrtle Beach SC - Congratulations to all the Cary Academy Upper
School Chorus members who participated in the Heritage Festival, and many thanks to the
directors, volunteers, staff, judges, and parents that made this
festival a big success !
The festival is an
adjudicated performance festival which is judged by choral
education professionals. Choirs from South Carolina, North
Carolina, Virginia, and New Jersey entered the event. Cary
Academy entered four groups in the event.
Cary Academy was judged the
top performing school in the competition and received the
Heritage Sweepstakes Award. Overall Cary Academy received 12 awards and four
Gold ratings.

The competition was held at
the beautiful sanctuary of the Christ United Methodist Church in
Myrtle Beach. The church is directly across from the Medieval
Times where the awards ceremony and celebration were held on
Saturday night.
